Join Bedfordshire Shooting’s team of instructors for a 1 hour experience of air rifle target shooting (minimum age 13 yrs).

Maybe you’ve always wanted to try target shooting or have some basic experience from your back garden, our team will coach you through an hour of safe handling and core principles such as position, aiming, breathing and trigger control as well as some relevant points of the law about air weapons. We will be using .177″ calibre pre-charge pneumatic (PCP) air rifles with dioptre sights (not telescopic sights !) to shoot paper targets for you to take away at a distance of 10 metres, the standard competition distance for air rifle.
Bedfordshire Smallbore Shooting Association, affiliated to the NSRA, is the umbrella organisation for smallbore target shooting across the county, working with clubs to organise competitions and select teams to represent Bedfordshire in regional and national events.
Please note that by registering for this event, you declare that the participant is not prohibited from possessing firearms under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 (as amended) by virtue, for example, of a criminal conviction resulting in a custodial sentence or equivalent.
